How to check a Thailand entry stamp
Thai Immigration normally places an admitted-until date in your passport when you enter. That date, rather than the visa sticker validity date or an online estimate, controls how long you may remain unless Immigration later grants an extension. This Thailand entry stamp checker compares the date you enter with a standard initial stay that is reliably established for the selected category.
A tourist visa commonly permits up to 60 days on entry, a standard non-immigrant visa commonly permits up to 90 days, and an O-A long-stay visa may permit up to one year. DTV and LTR permissions have their own longer periods and conditions. Visa-exemption arrangements are nationality-dependent and are currently subject to official revision, so the checker deliberately avoids a definitive exemption calculation when the current official position cannot be established safely.
What if the dates look different?
Do not assume an officer made an error. The stamp may reflect the passport expiry date, visa conditions, prior immigration history, supporting documents, insurance period or another individual circumstance. Check the handwritten or printed date carefully and ask a qualified adviser or Immigration to review the passport promptly if something appears unusual.

Does the arrival day count?
Immigration permissions are normally expressed as an admitted-until date. Date arithmetic in this tool counts the arrival day as day one, but the passport stamp always prevails.
Is visa validity the same as permission to stay?
No. Visa validity concerns when the visa may be used to enter. The admitted-until stamp records the permission granted on that entry.
